Brain tumors are devastating malignancies especially for children who have a whole life ahead of them potentially taken away. Tumors such as recurrent medulloblastomas and malignant astrocytomas have shown exceedingly poor responses to conventional therapies and this demands that novel, more effective therapies are developed.
